Stroll through the cobbled streets of Mornac-sur-Seudre , a preserved village in Charente-Maritime. Located on the banks of the Seudre, this former fishing and trading port has retained all of its character. At the edge of the Gironde estuary, 15km south of Royan , we invite you for a walk in the cobbled streets of Talmont-sur-Gironde , a typical village full of charm. From the small port, take the path to the remains of the White Tower and head towards the Sainte-Radegonde church , a Romanesque heritage from the 12th century. Take the time to lose yourself in the alleys flowered with hollyhocks, linger on the village square with its hundred-year-old lime tree and stroll through the craft shops.

Mortagne-sur-Gironde is divided between upper town and lower town. You discover the village from above. Its belvedere with its orientation table is one of the most beautiful viewpoints over La Gironde, the largest estuary in Europe . You are at the top of the dead cliffs. The sea once bathed the feet there. From here, you dominate its port surrounded by marshes. So, head to the lower town to see it up close !
